As told by Buster and Maggie... Chicago Botanical Gardens Antique & Garden Show

Buster & Maggie

We are Buster & Maggie... two very lucky cats! As you know we bring you the latest info from mom and dad's big adventures!

Here's the latest:

Welcome Home Mom & Dad... they got home last night from the Chicago Antique & Garden Show at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. They were telling us that the grounds there are beautiful and just starting to "pop" with hyacinth, daffodils and tulips. The entrances were planted with thousands of pansies. The weather was beautiful during setup on Tues and Wednesday. The show opened on Thursday evening for a  gala charity event! There was a beautiful buffet and the  " man cave" setup  complete with big screen TV's for viewing the Masters Tournament along with vintage Triumph motorcycles , leather sofas, and of course great food and drink. Here are a few photos!

The set up went well and we thought it would be fun to show you a few photos of the setup progression; start to end. The space was 40 feet long and only 6 feet deep. Mom says this is always a challenge. The walls were brick and a stone floor. Here is the space from the  start:

The day progressed well and this is it at the end of the first day. Looking good guys!

Wednesday was the final day for set up and I think Mom & Dad did a great job! They had a lot of live plants that Mom arranged in vintage silver, glass and metal pieces along with some great rabbits, architectural elements for sale as well as some vintage furniture pieces. Here is the booth complete!

Here are some more photos from the show!

Fabulous doors from More & More Antiques, New York
